This Coupon Lingo page covers the abbreviations and lingo used throughout the blogs at www.couponlady80.com.  There are many variations and many more lingo out there that are being used.  Only the ones used in this site are included in this reference page to keep the list short and easier to browse.  As new ones are used, they will be added to this page.

  • BOGO  ::  Buy One, Get One.  Other variations:  B1G1, B1G1F (Free).

  • CRT  ::  Cash Register Tape.  This is a coupon which is printed at the cash registers after you have made your purchase.
  • CW  ::  Cartwheel.

  • ECB  ::  ExtraCare Bucks (or officially ExtraBucks).  This is the ExtraCare Program Rewards earned at CVS Pharmacy.

  • GC  ::  Gift Card.

  • HT  ::  Hang Tag.  A coupon found in stores, hanging on a product.  i.e. wine coupons.

  • IP  ::  Internet Printable.

  • MQ or MQS  ::  Manufacturer's Coupon.

  • NLA  ::  No Longer Available.
P
  • P&G  ::  Proctor & Gamble.

  • RP  ::  Red Plum.

  • SS  ::  Smart Source.
  • Stacking  ::  Combining Manufacturer's Coupon and Store Coupon to further lower prices.

  • WYB  ::  When You Buy.
